The holiday season is upon us. It seems that once Halloween passes, life can feel like a pressure cooker, filled with social events, gift expectations, travel, and family gatherings. And yet, for others, the holiday season can be lonely and feel like something that only others are blessed with, while they sit out and watch from the sidelines. Whatever the reason, the end of the year can be a challenging time.
So, take some time out for you to rejuvenate and ground. Gift yourself (and those around you) with this 6-week series, where you will discover accessible yogic interventions to relieve the symptoms of depression, anxiety, chronic pain, & PTSD. Increase your sense of balanced wellness. All abilities & bodies welcome! Enjoy loving self-care, with techniques that are also appropriate for clinical settings.
with Marcia Seigel, BA, M.Ed., ERYT500, LFYP-2, Jin Shin teacher/practitioner/ writer
I work with groups and individuals using the principles of ancient yogic philosophy in the areas of depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, and chronic pain as established in Amy Weintraub’s books (Yoga for Anxiety and Depression; Yoga for Therapists: No Mats Required) and I integrate body/mind acupressure training from Iona Teeguarden, Energy Medicine from Donna Eden, and more.
