Kat has been with the LifeForce Yoga Healing Institute since 2007.

Certified as both Level I & II and a LifeForce Yoga Mentor. She has mentored both yoga instructors and mental health professionals on the LifeForce Practitioner certification track.  Kat has been on the Assisting faculty team for LifeForce Yoga Practitioner Level I training at Kripalu since 2010. She’s assisted numerous LifeForce Yoga workshops over the years at Kripalu, Arlington Center, Cape Cod Institute, and Victoria, Melbourne Australia.

She has found that the LifeForce Yoga protocols and practices encompass accessibility to All. Through integration of the tools and practices, they bring empowerment, self regulation, and a means to meeting Mood both on and off the mat. Kat has worked with clients managing and living with chronic pain, fatigue, fibromyalgia, crohns, addictions/recovery, domestic abuse, anxiety, depression, and healing from serious illness. She specializes in working with individuals touched by cancer. She has led many LFY workshops at Dempsey Center/Cancer Center in Lewiston, Maine, Posabilities Yoga Studio, and Online.

Kat is a Certified y4c-Yoga for Cancer Instructor. In addition, certified to teach Kripalu, Hatha, Vinyasa, Alignment based, Yoga Therapeutics,  Restorative Yoga and a Certified MBSR Practitioner.

She is a Certified Yoga Therapist with International Association of Yoga Therapists,  500 – Hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher, and Kripalu Yoga in Schools Certified Teacher.

Member of Yoga Alliance, International Association of Yoga Therapists, Iyengar Yoga National Association of United States & Kripalu Yoga and Ayurveda Association.

Currently, teaching Yoga & offering private Yoga therapy sessions at Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine.
