This is why we must cultivate resilience. \nThe Resiliency Retreat is the practice of Stress Reduction techniques. The more we practice soothing our nervous system in a calm setting\, the calmer it gets in general. Being resilient does not mean walking around relaxed all the time; it means knowing how and when to recover.
