LifeForce Yoga and IFS for Your Anxious Parts

Is there a worried, nervous, anxious part of you that keeps you from seeing clearly who you really are?  Is there a fearful part of you that keeps you from fully engaging in life and relationships?  Let the best-selling author of Yoga for Depression, and a senior trainer in the Internal Family Systems model of psychotherapy help you access your natural compassion and wisdom beneath the anxious mood.  Experience a gentle evidence-based yoga protocol to help you self-soothe and clear your mind, as you work with your manager parts, your acting out parts and those tender young exiled parts from a place of compassionate self-awareness that is your Self.

We’ll practice:

  • Pranayama breathing techniques that regulate the emotions
  • Meditations that calm and lift the mood
  • Creating Affirmation (sankalpa)
  • LifeForce Yoga Bhavana (Imagery)
  • LifeForce Yoga Chakra Clearing Meditation for Anxiety
  • LifeForce Yoga Nidra
  • Soothing universal tones (mantras)
  • Simple Yoga postures suitable for multilevel practitioners
  • Awareness of Parts that are trying to get your attention through your body
  • Bringing energy of your higher Self to all you Parts
  • Awareness when Parts hijack the System and returning to Your a Self-led place when that happens.

You will leave feeling refreshed, renewed, and excited about your at-home or professional practice with new tools to bring balance to the emotional and physical body.  Accessible for all levels, including beginners.  Psychotherapists, health professionals, and yoga teachers will learn techniques not regularly taught in yoga classes to help their clients focus, relax, and have greater access to their feelings.

Amy Weintraub and Paul Ginter will create a safe and Self-nourishing environment where you will practice yoga tools to help you manage your mood as you learn to apply the IFS model. Through LifeForce Yoga and IFS presentations and exercises that offer the opportunity for deep inner exploration, you will follow your own map home to Self.
