There are many studies that suggest the efficacy of yoga-based approaches for the treatment of mood disorders and PTSD.  The list below includes a few we feel are important.  These studies validate what the ancient practitioners of yoga understood–that yoga is a holistic approach to bringing us into a state in which body, mind and heart (all the koshas) are in balance.
