Resiliency Retreat with Rose Kress

October 1, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

$25 – $30
Sole to Soul Yoga, 208 5th Avenue SW
Albany, OR 97321 United States
Resiliency Retreat

Resiliency is our ability to bounce back from a stressful event. It is the nervous system moving into a restful state after moments of agitation. Imagine feeling at ease after a chaotic moment. Imagine the ability to navigate a chaotic world with a sense of focus, clarity, and a still mind. This is why we must cultivate resilience.

The Resiliency Retreat is the practice of Stress Reduction techniques. The more we practice soothing our nervous system in a calm setting, the calmer it gets in general. Being resilient does not mean walking around relaxed all the time; it means knowing how and when to recover. The more we practice stress reduction, our brain changes shape and makes relaxation easier.

We’ll practice:

  • Hacking the nervous system through movement, sound, and breath
  • What oxytocin is, why it matters, and how to make it
  • How to better control nervous system responses
  • Simple practice to calm and soothe
  • Journaling to help process & explore our experience

This retreat comes with a video recording of the retreat and a journal for notes. There is an essential oil component which includes: Adaptiv, Clary Sage, Lavender, and Roman Chamomile.

This is a hybrid retreat being offered in person and online and is priced accordingly.
