Certified as a yoga therapist, Devi blends the healing art of yoga with the life science of Ayurveda. She partners with her clients who struggle, showing them how to feel better by giving tools to cope with stress and the letdowns of life so they can rediscover their joy. She cares deeply about her clients, helping them to restore their power and spirit.
Practicing yoga and meditation since 1999, the practice calmed Devi’s over active mind and healed her depression. Discovering yoga was like finding a miracle drug with positive side effects! Yoga keeps your body toned, brightens your mood and balances your emotions. Sharing this secret is her greatest joy!
Prior to yoga, Devi was a public servant and clean water activist in Florida and Washington, D.C., where she influenced public policy conserving whales, dolphins, sea turtles and their habitats and protecting people from dangerous toxins. So she was always involved in healing. In 2006, she traveled the world, soaking up its cultures, customs, traditions and learning about yoga and the mind. Blending multicultural wisdom, Devi offers these lessons to heal others.
Devi has trained over 1000 hours with master teachers and has been teaching since 2008. She is a Level 2 LifeForce Yoga Practitioner, graduated from Inner Peace Yoga Therapy, a Sivananda certified Siromani, and a grateful student of vinyasa master Tom Gillette and anusara-inspired yogi goddess Jennifer Lynn. Devi is a student of the Robbins-Madanes Coaching Academy, set to graduate next month as a Strategic Interventionist Coach.
