LifeForce Yoga Grounding Practices for Stress & Anxiety

October 1, 2017 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

JaiPure Yoga, 575 Bloomfield Avenue
Montclair, NJ 07042 United States

This 2-hour workshop will introduce participants to the dynamic effects of LifeForce Yoga for grounding anxiety and managing daily stressors.

Based on the work of Amy Weintraub, LifeForce Yoga practices work intentionally on balancing the mood, allowing practitioners to develop their own unique practice to meet the mood as it arrives. This workshop will include some background and research on Yoga & the mood, and will also move through a LifeForce Yoga class sequence designed to meet and balance anxious states.

The class will include:
Bhavana (visualization)
Pranayama (breath practices)
Asana (physical postures)
Dyana (meditation practices)
Mudra (energy practices)
Mantra (use of sounds for chakra clearing),

and the best part of all… a nice long Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation)!

This is also a wonderful workshop to help deepen your personal yoga practice. No yoga experience is required…beginners are welcome.
