Self-Acceptance means embracing who you are without any qualifications, conditions, or exceptions. It is the regular practice of self-compassion. Embodying self-acceptance is a practice of embracing all parts of yourself, the things you like and the things you find less desirable. Understand that you are more than your actions, thoughts, feelings, likes, and dislikes. You are already whole and complete.
This Meditation guides you through observation and compassion, the ingredients of self-acceptance. Padma Mudra, or the gesture of the lotus flower, is used to connect with compassion. To practice this mudra, bring the hands into a prayer position at the heart. Keep the base of the hands, thumbs and pinky fingers touching, while opening the other three fingers so that the hands look like a blossoming flower.
