Those of us who work with others to empower them on their healing journey can sometimes experience burnout, particularly when supporting another to recover from a history that may include abuse. How do we sustain ourselves when we practice yoga one-on-one, offer yoga therapy and/or psychotherapy with someone who has few resources of her own and initially looks to us for support and may even resent that support?
